This time next week...

...we will be in the land of Obama, McCain, Halloween and the credit crisis. Yep, on Saturday we fly to Detroit, Michigan :-) Funnily enough, our flight is now from Dusseldorf back via Amsterdam to Detroit. We thought we were being clever (and saving money!) by booking a nonstop flight from Dusseldorf to Detroit, but the airline decided to make a change to the route and we now have a 60 minute stopover in Amsterdam in both directions! Go figure.

Really looking forward to seeing Bea again (and meeting Ad), celebrating Halloween, visiting a mega American shopping mall, going to an ice hockey game and eating proper American junkfood ;-) But most importantly, it will be another continent to add to my list. Just Africa, Antarctica and South America to go!
