Feeling a bit sad...

...the SummerFest is over, my lovely friend Xavier (who has been staying with us for the past 2 weeks or so) has just left us this morning for further travels, my brother Jason (who also stayed with us 3 weekends last month) flys back to Oz on Tuesday, and Bronwyn & Maurice leave NL and fly back to Oz on Thursday :-((

All in all, we have had a pretty crazy (hence the lack of posting here!) but fabulous past month. Amongst other things: we impressed my brother with a visit to Germany just for a coffee & strudel ;-), hosted a couple of cycle tours of Nijmegen, bought a dining table from Ikea (yay, thanks Jase!), visited the Bevrijdingsmuseum (Liberation Museum), ate yummy pancakes at the most picturesque pancake restaurant in the area, were treated to real roast lamb (thanks Xave!), AND all that in between celebrating the SummerFest 4 nights last week. It's been so much fun and I will REALLY miss our little Aussie contingent, but I also look forward to getting back into a regular sleeping pattern again!
